Cookie Policy

1. The short version

Browsing this website sets no cookies. We do measure how many people visit and which pages they read, but we do it in a way that stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.

There is one exception, and it is entirely in your hands: if you submit the contact form, a booking calendar from Cal.com appears so you can choose a time for your call. That calendar is a third-party tool and it may store information on your device in order to work. Section 4 explains it.

2. Why there is no banner

Under the ePrivacy Directive and the national laws implementing it, your consent is required before a website stores information on your device or reads information already there. That is what cookie banners exist for. Reading streamlineboost.com does neither, so the requirement does not arise.

The booking calendar is different, but it only loads because you asked for a call and submitted the form — it is not present on any page you can simply browse to, and what it stores is used to run the scheduler, not to track you.

3. How we measure traffic

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is designed to work without cookies. Rather than tagging your browser and following it around, it counts a visit by deriving a one-way fingerprint from the request itself — things like the page requested and general details of your browser and connection — mixed with a secret value that changes every day.

The practical effect of that daily change is that yesterday's visitor and today's visitor cannot be recognised as the same person. There is no identifier that persists, nothing is written to your device, and the result is aggregate counts: pages viewed, rough visitor numbers, which site sent you here, country, and device type.

The measurement script is served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact an outside analytics company. The resulting statistics are processed by Vercel, who host this site for us.

We do this because we need to know whether anyone is reading the site. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is never used for advertising. You can read the legal detail, including the basis we rely on, in our Privacy Policy.

4. The booking calendar

When you submit the contact form, we show you a calendar from Cal.com so you can book your 15-minute audit call there and then, instead of waiting for us to email you about times. The calendar is loaded from Cal.com and runs inside our page.

Because it is their tool, Cal.com may store information on your device — for example to remember your place in the booking flow and your time zone — and it receives your name, email and the notes from the form so the invite can be created. That storage is there to make the booking work; we do not use it to track you, and we get no advertising or profiling data from it.

You are never made to use it. If you would rather not, simply close the page or ignore the calendar — your enquiry has already reached us, and we will email you within 24 hours to arrange a time the ordinary way. You can also email us directly and skip the form altogether.

5. What we still do not do

• No Google Analytics, and no analytics product that relies on cookies.
• No advertising, remarketing or conversion pixels.
• No social media trackers, and no embedded widgets other than the booking calendar described above.
• No session recording, heatmaps or scroll tracking.
• No tracking of you across other websites.
• No fonts loaded from a third party at page load. Our typefaces are downloaded when the site is built and served from our own domain, so your browser never contacts a font provider and your IP address is never disclosed to one.

6. The client dashboard is different

Our client dashboard at app.streamlineboost.com is a separate application, and signing in there does set cookies. Those cookies are strictly necessary: they keep you signed in and protect your session against forgery. They are never used for tracking, profiling or advertising, and they are cleared when you sign out. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, which is why the dashboard does not show a banner either.

7. If this ever changes

If we adopt anything that stores information on your device, or any analytics that can follow you between visits, we will update this page and put a real consent mechanism in place before it goes live — not afterwards. Until you see this page say otherwise, the statements above are the whole picture.
